Class experience
In this weekly ongoing class, students will learn about a new famous artist each week (Monet, Picasso, Pollock, Kandinsky, etc...) They will create works of art based on the artist of the week. The class will begin with an introduction of the artist of the week through a vibrant presentation. The students will learn a few facts about the artist's life, explore the art techniques used by that artist, and examine some famous works of art. The materials will be posted in the classroom a week in advance or sent to the students upon enrollment (unless the student registers close to the class start time.) The materials will always be flexible, meaning you can use whatever you have on hand. Some examples of materials we may use are: Paper Scissors Glue Paint Coloring materials Cardboard Week of March 31: Gustav Klimt Supplies Needed: Paper A pencil and eraser Coloring materials **Optional: Gold marker/pen/paint
Some art activities may require the use of scissors.
