General Information:
No prior yoga experience is required; this class is suitable for all levels, whether you are new to yoga or experienced.
Parental participation is encouraged, especially for younger children, to foster a shared experience and ensure safety during the session.
Please ensure that all family members are free of any pre-existing medical conditions that could interfere with physical activity.
Maximizing Your Experience:
A yoga mat (or towel) is recommended for each family member for comfort and stability during practice. Additional props like blocks, straps, or blankets are optional but can be used to enhance the practice.
Comfortable, loose clothing is ideal for ease of movement for both children and adults.
Remove shoes and socks to enhance grip and balance on the yoga mat.
Avoid eating right before class; it’s best to practice on an empty stomach to allow for deeper focus and better movement.
Keep a water bottle handy to stay hydrated throughout the session.
Create a quiet, clutter-free space for practice, ensuring a peaceful and distraction-free environment.
Additional Considerations:
For children with specific medical or sensory needs, or if you’d like modifications, please inform me prior to class so I can tailor the session to better meet your family’s needs.
Ensure the practice area is safe, clear of obstacles, and large enough for everyone to move freely during the session.
If you have family members with neurodivergent traits or specific focus needs, let me know how I can adjust the session for maximum benefit.
Additional Notes for Parents:
As this class is designed to be private and personalized, your family will receive tailored adjustments for each member’s individual needs—whether neurotypical or neurodivergent. Let me know if anyone in your family needs extra support (like sensory or focus accommodations) so I can adjust the session accordingly.
Parental supervision during the session is encouraged, especially if younger children are involved, to help with adjustments and ensure a seamless experience for the whole family.
