Class Experience
Do you love the season fall and want to learn more about it? Then this class is for YOU! In this class we will be learning fun facts about the season fall from a non-fiction book How Do You Know It's Fall? By, Lisa M. Herrington (with permission) while also learning how to use graphic organizers to record our research. In addition, we will work together to write a sensory poem about fall using our 5 senses. If time allows, learners will be able to draw and color a picture of fall activities...
Students will engage in writing activities to help develop their non-fiction writing skills. Students will learn to record research using graphic organizers while researching the season fall. In addition, they will use their five senses to create a sensory poem, in which they will improve their writing skills.
3 files available upon enrollmentA fall fact page will be provided. A sensory poem will be provided. A drawing page with a word bank will be provided. Pencil Crayons/markers **If you are unable to print the provided handouts, blank paper will be just fine!**
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
