Class Experience

This digital "escape room" is perfect for preschool learners. Learners will use their knowledge of shapes, patterns, and colors to solve mysteries and get clues. Learners will use the clues to earn a special fall-themed digital prize at the end of class. No reading is required.

In this class, learners may stay unmuted (as long as background noise isn't too disruptive). We'll practice taking turns and working together to solve the mysteries.

This class will be most fun with at least two learners. If there is only one student enrolled, parents may be asked to choose one of the following options:
1). if their learner would prefer being alone or with other students
2). if they would like to be transferred to a section with more students, or
3). withdraw/be refunded and enroll next time a section is offered.

Teacher expertise and credentials

I'm an accountant with a teaching background who enjoys learning and strives to foster a love of learning in students through games and interactive learning. I believe students learn best when they are having fun and interacting with the material.

I have always had a passion for learning and have diverse interests. I'm especially passionate about building strong foundations in language and math. I believe confidence in these two areas will give students the tools to learn almost anything they'd like to in life.

As an accountant, I have expertise in mathematics and finance. I'm an Enrolled Agent and believe everyone should be proficient in budgeting and personal finance. I believe a strong foundation in math is important to develop advanced skills with numbers later in life. Likewise, strong grammar and language skills will help students communicate effectively and give them the tools to learn anything they'd like to. I'm also passionate about culture and language and have formally studied nine languages, including studying abroad. I want to share the world with students through language and exploration.

I hope to share my love of learning with each of my students as they explore their personal interests. In doing so, students will become lifelong learners and continue to grow in and out of the classroom.
