In this class learners will practice counting, writing numbers, and recognizing the word form of numbers by making a simple folded book--with pockets! We'll add pages to our book with a fall-themed, counting story. Students will practice counting by completing the pictures to tuck into the pockets, practice recognizing and reading the word form of numbers, and write the numbers 1-10. Students will make a simple book with pockets and practice counting, recognizing the word form of numbers, and writing numbers 1-10.
Learners will draw and write their numbers during class time. We will color our pictures afterwards as time permits. Learners may finish coloring their pictures after class.
1 file available upon enrollmentClass printout (please pre-cut the squares) 3 brown paper lunch bags 1 rubber band (just large enough to fit around the width of the bags without causing the bags to bunch or fold) Pencil Glue stick Crayons, colored pencils or markers
