Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten
In this ongoing weekly summer class, students will review various Kindergarten reading concepts. Although I will follow a Kindergarten scope and sequence of foundational reading skills, I will review previous skills every session so your student can join in at any time!
This class is perfect for:
⭐️ Students who have just completed Kindergarten and would like to practice their reading skills some more.
⭐️ Students who will be going into Kindergarten who want to get a head start.

I love to teach foundational reading concepts using fun hands on activities, games, interactive videos and grade level texts! For each class, I will review a combination of skills in each category, students will do an activity/practice the skills with the class, then the students will have an opportunity to do individual practice. Providing positive reinforcement is very important to me while I am teaching my classes! I want students to feel successful and be able to practice their reading skills in a positive and fun environment! I will give your learner specific and positive feedback so that they can fix mistakes if needed and celebrate their successes!

Here is a list of concepts that will be taught throughout the Summer Months
