Learn to paint water reflections in this bright fall class.
Class experience
We will explore the beauty of watercolor and create this translucent painting of water reflecting fall trees. Students will learn to blend colors. Proper brush care will be discussed as well as how to use the brushes to create texture with them. We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and why shading and hi-lighting are such an important part of a painting. We will have some basic colors to use and mixing our own colors will be encouraged. A little color theory is always...
Students will learn blending, hi-lighting and shading techniques along with some color theory. They will learn how to use their brush, be encouraged to mix colors and have fun!
I have been painting, and teaching art for over twenty years and am always inspired by my students creativity.

1 file available upon enrollmentSupply List 8 inch by 10 inch watercolor paper, bowl or water, paper towels, number 12 round brush that comes to a point, palette paper (or a watercolor tray or foam plate), Watercolor paint tubes, not the trays. A set is easy to find a craft stores. We will use white, yellow, orange, alizarin crimson(red), purple, blue, green, and black.
