Class Experience
Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that...
CAMERAS will be asked to be ON during class for attendance purposes. As you know, Outschool classes are specifically for children. Per Outschool's policy, each painter must be registered separately. _______________________
ACRYLIC Paint Colors White Green yellow orange Blue Black SUPPLIES ACRYLIC Paint Colors * Craft paints such as Apple barrel or Craft Smart dry quickly and have great colors • 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. 4. SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) • 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush • Small flat /angled brush •Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) with a point • Small Detail brush with a nice point. • 2 Bowls of water •OLD hand towel to keep with your painting kit And 4 paper towels •2 Paper plates ( one for paints and one for mixing. ) Poster board or paper down to protect surfaces Paint smock / paint clothes and long hair tied back Optional : Headphones Please position ALL supplies on one side. NEXT TO to your painting hand. Computer /device should be faced directly ahead so I can view entire painter/ progress
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
