Description
Class Experience
In this class we will be painting a detailed leaf, in its fall colors. We learn about pressure control, color blending directly on the paper, and layering. Class will begin with some deep breaths to help bring us into focus, and then we will begin step by step sketching and painting! My teaching style is relaxed and peaceful, with an emphasis on enjoying the process, vs. worrying about creating a “perfect” painting. This class is taught in English.
Students will paint a beautiful picture of a fall leaf and learn some watercolor techniques as well as a warm up method which can be applied to any visual arts creative project.
-watercolor paper -watercolor paint -large, medium, and small round paint brushes -pencil and eraser -paper towel and water cup -masking tape -hair blowdryer
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
