Fall by the Pond Watercolor Painting Class

We will explore the beauty of watercolor while creating this lovely fall scene. Students will learn to control the water to paint mix to achieve a background and foreground. We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and why shading and hi-lighting are such an important part of a painting. 8 inch by 10 inch watercolor paper, bowl or water, paper towels, number 12 round brush that comes to a point, 1/2 inch square, flat top brush palette paper (or a watercolor tray or foam plate), Watercolor paint. A set is easy to find a craft stores. We will use white, yellow, orange, alizarin crimson(red), purple, blue, green, brown and black.
