Class experience
In this one time class students will learn to paint a fall tree blowing in the wind using acrylic paint. This is a step by step painting class. Students will learn different techniques for blending and mixing colors. Students are welcome to ask questions and be creative as they'd like with their painting. Students will need the following acrylic paint colors * They are more than welcomed to use any colors they choose. The colors I will use for the class are listed below. Paint Colors 1....
Students will need the following acrylic paint colors * They are more than welcomed to use any colors they choose. The colors I will use for the class are listed below. Paint Colors 1. Black 2. White 3.Orange 4. Red 5. Green 6. Bark brown 7.Cobalt blue 8. Bright Yellow 9. Antique Gold **If students don't have exact color shades listed that is ok any shade in that color family will work. Brush Sizes Round brush sizes : #2,4,6 and 8. A very fine tip brush is good for adding fine details. Flat Brush #2 or 4 flat brush ***If you don't have the specified brush sizes you can use a small, medium , and large round brush. Canvas 11 x 14 Canvas Panel board or canvas. Additional Supplies 1.*** White Chalk for sketching on the canvas. Students are more than welcomed to use a pencil and erase the lines but they may still show on the painting. 2. A foam plate or painter's pallet for mixing colors 3. Table covering 4. A smock or an old t-shirt to wear. 5. ***Handheld blow dryer for drying your painting. 6. Cup of w water for cleaning paint brushes. 7. Paper towel for drying paint brushes. 8. Q-tips 9. Small black rubber bands or tape to bundling the rubber bands together.
Parents may need to assist their learner with the blow dryer.
