Let's bake this easy but delicious Thanksgiving inspired treat! This is a hands on class where I will be baking alongside the learners as we go step by step through the recipe.
Class experience
During this fall season, let's bake these delicious pumpkin pie crescent roll bites! You and your family will gobble these up, no pun intended. In this class we will be baking this recipe together step by step. We will discuss the ingredients and the measuring tools needed. We will prepare the crescent dough, measure each ingredient, mix them together, and assemble each bite! After placing in the oven, we will prepare the glaze. Students will learn to read through a recipe, and make sure that they have the correct ingredients and measuring tools. They will learn how to measure out each ingredient during each step of the recipe. They will also learn how to keep a clean baking zone as they go.
Tools Needed: 1 Teaspoon 1 cup 1/2 cup 2 whisks Can Opener Medium-Large mixing bowl Small mixing bowl Small bowl or ramekin for cinnamon sugar mix Cupcake baking tray Nonstick Spray 1 paper towel Ingredients: 2 packs Crescent Rolls (8 rolls per pack) 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon sugar Filling: 1 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice 2 teaspoons cinnamon 2 eggs Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar 2 teaspoon cinnamon 6 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
