Each week we will have a different fall craft activity to do! We will do paintings, drawings, and cutting crafts. Students will be able to learn how to do these various crafts each week. The class will be structured to where I model how to do each craft and I provide support as needed for each student. I believe that in art there should be individuality and that students should put their own spin on their art pieces. Students will be promoted to be creative individuals.
Weekly activities are listed below:
Week of 9-25: Water color pumpkin patch (Water color paper, water color paint, paintbrushes, water, cup, paper towels, white crayon if you'd like)
Week of 10-2: Moving Eye cat paper plate (paper plate, acrylic paint, construction paper ,paint brushes, water, paper towels, glue, scissors) optional-pompoms, white crayon/marker, markers, and anything else to decorate!
Week of 10-9: Smoking cauldron art (water color paper, watercolors, cotton balls, glue, acrylic paint, black construction paper, paint brushes, water, paper towel, scissors)
Week of 10-16: Construction paper haunted house (Construction paper, black construction paper, scissors, glue, markers)
Week of 10-23: Hand Print Bat (construction paper, scissors, glue, markers) optional-googley eyes
Week of 10-30: Halloween Wreath (paper plate or construction paper that can be cut into a ring, colored construction paper and/or tissue paper, glue, scissors) optional- pompoms, glitter, stickers, and anything else to decorate
Week of 11-6: Paper plate scarecrow!  (paper plates, construction paper, glue, scissors and colored pencils/crayons)
Week of 11-13: Turkey Wreath (paper plate, construction paper, scissors, glue, and colored pencils/crayons)
Week of 11-20: Paper plate owls (paper plate, acrylic paint, scissors, paper towel, water, glue)
Week of 11-27: Paper plate forest animals (deer, raccoon, bear) (paper plate, acrylic paint, scissors, paper towel, water, glue)
Students will be able to create their art pieces each week and share their end product with others!
