Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi,
I am an art teacher but have many interests outside of art. I currently teach elementary and middle school art and art history. I love teaching technique as well as the stories behind artists. I believe anyone can be an artist. Many of my students have continued their art lessons even after middle school and love learning about new techniques and useful everyday lessons such as quick sketching, oil pastel technique, colored pencil techniques, pastel pencils, graphite, and creating collages. My art projects are usually centered around an artist and then a technique that the artist used to create their masterpieces.
