Let's Learn AP Calculus! Part 1: Limits and Continuity

In Part 1 we will focus on evaluating and representing limits and defining continuity through the following objectives:
Week 1. Estimating Limits from Graphs and Tables and Defining Continuity
Week 2. Evaluating Limits Algebraically and Removing Discontinuities
Week 3. Connecting Limits and Asymptotes
*Students currently taking or who have previously taken a Calculus course can enroll in any part of the calculus series*
**For students looking to see a full Calculus curriculum it is recommended to enroll in each part of the 6-part series**

Each 55-minute class will follow a similar structure:
Warm up with an open-ended question that introduces the core concept
A hands-on activity to explore the concept and build understanding from the student perspective
Structured notes with examples led by the teacher
Practice problems including AP Practice questions that can be completed in class or independently

Whether you're a high school student preparing for the AP Calculus exam, a first-semester college student pursuing a STEM degree, or a homeschool learner interested in understanding the mathematics behind the world we live in, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed.
