We will practice the preschool concepts of number recognition, counting and one to one correspondence. We will travel to magical fairytale lands. Students will practice counting, number recognition and one to one correspondence. Physical movements: jumping off of two feet, lateral exercises, coordination, balance, strength and cardio.
Coach DaniBee is a former preschool teacher and has been teaching gymnastics and fitness to preschoolers for almost 20 years. She trains coaches on how to keep kids engaged, having fun and learning.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
It is important for children to be in an open and safe space for class. Parents are advised to check on the space before child begins exercises. Make sure your child is on a carpeted area or a yoga mat. All exercises can be performed in the space as big as a yoga mat. Parents are welcome to supervise children during the class to ensure safety, but are not required. Children will be performing age appropriate exercises that are safe to perform in a home environment. A water bottle may be close by but far enough to not be in the way of exercises. Children are encouraged to drink water whenever they feel like it without asking permission.
