In this class a student will practice drawing and learn different watercolor painting techniques. Art is self-expression. In this class a student not only can have fun and express himself/herself through Art but it also helps with fine motor coordination, focus, following directions, listening skills, confidence and the opportunity to practice thinking creatively.
Watercolor paper pad : 9in.X12in. or larger Pencil Eraser Watercolors Two cups of water to wash brushes Paper towels or a rag to wipe the brushes A set of brushes- different sizes ( at least a flat brush no.6 and two pointed brushes no.1 and no.3 ) One plain white paper to test colors. Crayons Coloring markers
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
