Fairy Tale Ballet Prince and Princess Party will be a one-time, story time class. Little dancers will hear a charming fairy tale from Grimm's Fairy Tales by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, interact with the teacher and other students and then will be taught ballet basics. There will also be a free-style section to...
Students will develop skills, such as: reading comprehension, vocabulary, ballet basics and creative movement.
There is no homework for this class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be informal assessments done throughout the class.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Since this is a class that includes physical movement and dance, necessary steps should be taken to ensure the safety of the learners. It is recommended that the little dancers have ample room to move in which is free from any safety hazards. Additionally, the learner should be wearing clothing that they can move in, leotards, tights and ballet slippers would be great, but are not necessary. Finally, sometimes it has been found that the learners may get thirsty during the class, so water should be provided.
