In this 3-day summer camp, learners will create their very own magical fairy world. Learners will use their imaginations and creativity to create a fun fairy house as well as a fairy garden.

Class Experience
Fairy Gardens have become so popular! They are a great way to nurture your learner's creativity. In this 3 day summer camp learners will create their very own fairy garden magical world by using their imaginations, art supplies and garden supplies. Each day of camp will be activity focused: Day 1) Teacher will lead discussion about the origination of fairy gardens, houses, doors, etc. We will discuss containers, soil, and plants for fairy garden as well as a fairy house and optional...
Students may need more time to finish their plan (sketch) and possibly their fairy garden house.
A hand out will be provided on the first day of class. Day 1- Drawing paper, pencil with eraser, markers, and crayons Day 2 - Terra cotta pot(s) 1-3, acrylic paint, paint brushes, markers, paper towels, moss or greenery, low temp glue gun and glue sticks, rocks or pebbles (E6000 glue if gluing rocks to terra cotta), anything else learner might want to use on house. Day 3 - Fairy garden container, soil, low growing plants meant for your geographical area, completed fairy garden house(s), rocks , pebbles or any other decorations for your garden .
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental guidance may be needed while using hot glue gun or specialized glue on projects.
