In this one-time makeup class, we will explore the best techniques on how to apply colorful makeup, including rainbow eyeshadow (without muddying colors together), glitter (and glitter glue), layering for longevity and the use of stencils.

In this hands-on lesson, students will learn how to do rainbow makeup looks without "muddying" the colors together. Also, how to layer cream and powder products for intensity and longevity, as well as wet use of dry products, and dry use (stippling) with wet products for acheiving dimension. In addition, we will talk about how to use glitter safely and how to make it last longer on the skin. Finally, we will use stencils (pre-made and improvised, using household items) to acheive cool skin...
Students will learn wet/dry techniques for applying color, using the color wheel as a guide not to "muddy" the colors together. Also, how to work with color theory and the color wheel to their advantage, in order to achieve the desired look.
Pro makeup artist for over 20 years.
Students are encouraged (but not required) to bring pictures of looks they would like to achieve.
Please bring any and all personal makeup products and brushes, especially bright rainbow-colored products, glitter and glitter glue and/or lash glue, false eyelashes, setting spray, as well as a basic moisturizer, cotton swabs (Q-tips), makeup wipes or micellar water/cotton rounds. We will work with what each student has at home.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
