*In this art camp students will be taught how to draw fairies, gnomes and landscapes. *Topics covered include parts of a landscape, how to create the illusion of space within a composition and how to use geometric shapes to block in objects. *Class is structured so that each day students will create a new drawing Day 1: Spring Fairy in the woods with deer Day 2: Gnome in the vegetable garden with rabbits Day 3: Winter Fairy in her home with pets Day 4: ...
Students will learn the parts of a landscape. Students will learn how to show space in a composition using size relationships and object placement. Students will learn how to use geometric shapes as building blocks for drawing new things.
I am a professionally licensed K-12 Art Teacher. I own and operate my own art studio where I host themed summer art camps.
Students will need pencil, paper and an eraser. Students may also want to have something to color with such as colored pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
