Your learner will work on a hands on factoring exercise. Here are the topics that will be discussed 1. Factors 2. Prime numbers 3. Composite numbers 4. Prime factorization 5. Divisibility rules I will be using whiteboard and PowerPoint illustrate and instruct the strategies and solutions to learn the topics. Students will develop a thorough understanding of factoring by doing various exercises on factor tree.
Sheets of paper or notebook, pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be a quiz posted at the end of the class to understand what the student has learnt.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please request your learner to bring in whiteboard, markers, pencils and paper.
