Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
During this class we will be doing: Day 1 - Setup and Mouth - Boxes again when do we start with something else? Day 2 - Mouth and Nose - What no eyes? Day 3 - Eyes - Yay my character can see? Day 4 - Cheeks and Tweaks - Finally a full face but why doesn't it look right? Day 5 - Back and Neck - A full bust is made Extra - Eyebrows and Eyelashes - If the class runs quick and we have extra time I will cover how to create Eyebrows and Eyelashes.
Students will be asked to create their own face as homework.
Campers are required to have a three button mouse and not a track pad for working in Blender. Also you will need to download and install Blender, a free 3d modeling software, that can be found at https://www.blender.org/. Please check with the software and hardware requirements of your computer before downloading Blender. I have found most computers made in the last 5 years have no problems running the software.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
5 hours per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Students will follow along with me in the software Blender while learning how to create a 3d character face. Blender is a free 3d software that can be downloaded from www.blender.org and does not require an account. Blender is an open source 3d modeling software that is great to allow beginning modelers to learn the tools of the trade without paying for an expensive suite of software.
