I have been a professional face painter for the last 11 years along with teaching face painting all over the country. I entertain at birthday parties and corporate events all over the Tampa Bay area. I love teaching children the art of face paint as they enjoy it so much more than adults!
There is no required homework.
Face paint kit (minimum 1 color but a tray of several is ideal) - $29+ (Wolfe hydrocolor, Mehron, Global or Tag recommended - please no liquid paint) Round #4 brush (higher quality better but any brush will work) Flat 1/4" brush (higher quality better but any brush will work) Sponge (tack sponge or face paint sponge, 1-3 recommended) Baby wipes or damp towel (to clean up makeup) Paper or arm/face or friend to paint on
Informal assessment of student's work with verbal suggestions for improvement.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
