Fabulous Phonics- Letters and Sounds Stage 1 Blending Sounds to Form Words

In this ongoing fun class your child will enjoy learning sounds, sounding out simple three letter words essential for the start of their reading and spelling journey.  My learning style is lively and engaging, using visual prompts, slides and animated characters as well as songs and rhymes.  
Children love to meet the different characters each week Sam the Snake, Anna the Ant which brings phonics to life.

The classes follow a similar format but will concentrate on a different sound each week.  But don't worry if you miss a week, as the sound you missed will come round again! After the class parents will be given Phonics Flashcards and practice sheets to work on between lessons.

Each class is interactive and follows this basic structure:
A walk with Joe (audio and visual introduction to Joe who helps us on our Phonics Journey)
Story- Sam the Snake (for example)
Formation – Slide down Sam/Sam’s mum
from head to tail.
Song – Sam the SnakeSee – looking at the letter(s)
Sound – Hearing the phoneme
Name – Identifying a letter by its name
Action – Linking the GPC with an action
