In this fun class, your learner will create a beautiful watercolor painting using Kandinsky circles as the inspiration. The learner will observe and learn about Wassily Kandinsky and his style of art. We will use this as inspiration for our flowers! We will discuss abstract art and what that means. We will also talk about warm and cool colors and how to create concentric circles. The learner will use watercolor paints, oil pastels and a sharpie to create this work of art. I will always encourage your learner to use their own creativity! This will be a live demo class from a second screen with step-by-step instructions and lots of encouragement! This will also be a fun, interactive class for the students!

Students will learn how to create concentric circles and use watercolor paint and oil pastels!

The learner will need: -Watercolor Paint -Thick Cardstock or Watercolor Paper -Oil Pastel Crayons -Black Sharpie -Heat Tool or Hair Dryer

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have over 5 years experience teaching in public and private schools, teaching all ages from Early Childhood through 6th grade. I also have 2 years of online teaching experience.
