This class will teach students about the tools and techniques of making fabric bows! Parent warning - this course requires the use of a hot glue gun. This class is very much participatory - I will demonstrate the process of making a bow from start to finish, which students will watch, and then will go through the process step by step for each student to try live from their end! Students will be able to ask questions during the process, comment on each other's work, and share their creations...
There is no assigned work, but it is my hope that students will practice making bows on their own, between classes, and return to show their finished pieces!
Hot glue gun Cotton fabric (thinner is better) Scissors Alligator clip or hair elastic (if turning the bow into a hair accessory!)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents - this course requires the use of a hot glue gun. Please go over proper usage with your child beforehand.
