A historic look at World War II with the F6F Hellcat fighter airplane. This class will focus on the Hellcat’s role with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific theater.

This course will teach the student about the F6F Hellcat aircraft, the historic significance during World War II, facts about the different variants of the aircraft, and how the aircraft was used in different functions during the war. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There is also a short video of the F6F Hellcat in WWII. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.

The learning goals of this course will be to teach the student about the F6F Hellcat aircraft, the historic significance during World War II, facts about the different variants of the aircraft, and how the aircraft was used in different functions during the war.

There is no graphic violent material in this class. There will be a short YouTube video in this class and you do not need a separate login for this video.
