Come learn about the first true stealth airplane in the U.S. Air Force inventory. This is a science and historic based class focused on the F-117 (Nighthawk) plane.
Class Experience
US Grade 6 - 9
The learning goals for this course will be to teach the student about the F-117 stealth attack bomber, the engineering feats, science related material, and how the plane and crew accomplished the mission. The focus will be on both scientific and historic facts about this technological wonder of a plane. The student will learn about the F-117 and that it is not really a "fighter" aircraft, the mission in the Air Force, and how it did an excellent job especially during Desert Storm. Stealth technology will also be emphasized in this class.
As a retired Air Force officer, I understand the different types of aircraft in the U.S. Air Force inventory and enjoy teaching about them.
