Class Experience

Do you love learning about all the interesting and odd things in this world? 
In this short camp, we will discover some of the strangest animals and food (to some) on Earth. Every time we travel to a new place, we will look at the world map to understand where we are exploring.
I keep the class size small so that every learner has a chance to speak. Learners are encouraged to make connections, ask questions, and share information. I will be using a slideshow to show pictures and videos of the...

I have backpacked through many countries around the world. This has given me the chance to really learn about and appreciate each one of them. I research every place and plant heavily before teaching the class. I also use my contacts from around the world as references. I am a certified elementary school teacher and have taught social studies every year.
