We will review what to expect during this class and you will get some resources and tools to use throughout the class.

In this lesson, we will review what an opinion piece is, brainstorm ideas, and begin our rough draft.
Lesson 3:
Edit
In this lesson, we will review our writing checklist and go through the editing and revising process.
Lesson 4:
Final Draft
Time to put all of your hard work together in one final draft!

Google Docs- for sharing work with teacher and receiving feedback from teacher.

Pre-Requisites
Students should know all letters and sounds and be able to write their letters.

Hi everyone! Welcome to class! I am Miss Kate. I have 15+ years of teaching experience with students ages 2-14 years old. I am passionate about early childhood education and building the foundation for life long learning. My classes will be engaging and focus on a variety of topics including early literacy, early math and life skills. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and 3 (yes, three) big dogs!
I believe in engaging and playful learning and will teach my classes in a fun and interactive way including songs, digital & interactive games, and lots of interaction and opportunities for engagement.
I am certified to teach K-8 Elementary, K-12 Special Education and Early Childhood Education. In addition, I have a certificate in Child Psychology from Penn Foster, a certificate in Autism Studies from Arizona State University and a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University. I love to teach and look forward to meeting your child!
