The United States President is often referred to as the, "Leader of the Free World," but many do not know much about this political figure. We will dive into the history of why we have a president in the United States, how they are chose, and the life and times of each president! Topics we will cover: The roles and responsibilities of the president How the president is chosen Why the founding fathers chose to have a president Each president, their life, presidency and legacy for years to come. The material will be taught through PowerPoint presentations, shorts videos, collaborative conversations and closed readings. I love for my students to learn not only from myself but through the help of their fellow classmates. This is my goal to have collaborative conversations that make each student question, answer and gauge their own level of knowledge about the topic.

Students will learn the overall impact of each president and how their legacy shapes our country today.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My degree is in History with an emphasis in American History. While studying in my undergrad I specifically took courses that emphasized each president and their legacy. I teach my students in my own classroom about each president throughout the duration of the school year.
