Exploring the Underwater World: Sharks
In this one time class, students will learn what makes a shark a shark, and not a fish. We will learn about several different species of sharks, such as the Tiger and Great White!

What makes a shark a shark, and not a fish? In this class, your children will learn the answer to this, as well as much more. We will explore facts on several different species of sharks, such as the Great White shark! We will discuss what makes each one different from the others, as well as some of the common similarities. The class will be interactive, with guided discussion. PowerPoint slides will also be used to engage and learn. I enjoy creating an atmosphere where children are comfortable with being themselves and discovering just how brilliant their minds can be. No prior knowledge is required.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the unique qualities of sharks and what make them different from everyday fish. They will learn how to identify the different types of sharks.

Hello parents and students! My name is Mr.Kenny! I am married to my beautiful wife, Heather, who is also an Outschool teacher! We have an amazing four year old little boy named Alyas! I enjoy watching him grow and learn! My family and I are full-time travelers, living in a travel trailer, seeing the country and all the great things it has within it. I have 9+ years of teaching and volunteer work with children ages 3-14, and I'm also an online ESL teacher. I'm very excited to teach through Outschool, helping children learn and grow, all while having a blast doing it! When it comes to my teaching style, I love all things outdoors, so I want to bring that passion to my students. I was in the Army for 6 years, 2 of which I was a Drill SGT, so I have a lot of life skills to share, as well as survival skills and techniques.
