US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this class, the student will develop their understanding of the roles bones, ligaments and tendons play in the functioning of the skeletal system. Students will cover : 1. Major bones of the skeletal system 2. The three main functions of the skeletal system 3. Roles of tendons and ligaments Lesson Structure The lesson order is as follows: 1. Welcome and Introduction by the teacher 2. Starter question: What would our bodies look like if we didn't have bones? 3. The teacher will then cover all the above objectives with slides, information, imagery, video presentation and class discussion Students will consolidate their knowledge by fitting the bones with the teacher's help. The student will consolidate their learning by fitting the bones with the teacher's help. Teaching styles that will be applied throughout the lesson are: discovery learning, think-pair-share, discussions and screen matching Leaner will interact through class discussions, quizzes, modelling making, slides and video clips
