Oceanography is the study of all aspects of the ocean. Oceanography covers a wide range of topics. In this class students will learn how big the ocean really is and why it is so important to our planet. This will be a high energy, engaging class that will spark an interest in science or renew a flame that was already there. ***This is a flex class with no live meetings. I believe in feeding children's natural curiosity. I have a BA from Geneva College and have over a decade experience teaching children and teens. I use to hold credentials through the State of Ohio Department of Education (expired) and worked for my local public school system for over 2 years. I have been an online teacher for five years and pride myself on never letting kids get bored yet always be learning. I have experience leading hundreds of students into the world of science. I have 5 years of teaching engaging science class (earth space, biology, physics) in both an online and public school setting.
