In this exciting ongoing class, your learner will explore each of the continents in fun and engaging ways! We will learn about the features, size, countries, animals and landmarks of each continent. This will be a shared slide-show from my screen with lots of opportunities for interaction. Each class will also include printables that will extend on our lesson. Your learner will be able to label and identify the continent and create a book with facts and pictures to color from each continent. We will also play a Kahoot! game during each class. This is a fun way to see how much your learner remembers about what we have learned! Week One: North America We will explore the size, features, countries, animals and landmarks of North America. Animals: American Alligator, Gila Monster, Armadillo. Landmarks: Statue of Liberty, The White House, Golden Gate Bridge and more! Week Two: South America We will explore the size, features, countries, animals and landmarks of South America. Animals: Toucan, Capybara, Spider Monkey. Landmarks: Amazon Rainforest and more! Week Three: Europe We will explore the size, features, countries, animals and landmarks of Europe. Animals: Badger, Wolf, Bear. Landmarks: Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, and more! Week Four: Asia We will explore the size, features, countries, animals and landmarks of Asia. Animals: Giant Panda, Red Panda and more! Landmarks: The Great Wall and more! Week Five: Africa We will explore the size, features, countries, animals and landmarks of Africa. Animals: Hippo, Elephant, Giraffe, Cheetah. Landmarks: The Great Pyramids and more! Week Six: Australia & Antarctica We will explore the size, features, countries, animals and landmarks of Australia and Antarctica. Animals: Kangaroo, Koala, Wombat. Landmarks: The Sydney Opera House, The Great Barrier Reef and more! I look forward to exploring these continents with your learner!

Hi! My name is Jana Glosson and my passion is teaching children! I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas and am certified to teach EC-6 in Texas. I have over 5 years experience teaching in public and private schools, teaching all ages from Early Childhood through 6th grade. I also have 2 years of online teaching experience. I enjoy scrapbooking, painting, sewing, quilting, cross stitching, card-making, mixed media and most of all, teaching! Before getting my teaching certification, I owned a scrapbooking store in Texas and created and taught hundreds of fun and creative classes. I love building confidence in learners and watching them express their creativity! I look forward to meeting your leaner!
