In this six class course, students will examine the journey to the United States Constitution. The purpose and organization of the Constitution will be discussed, along with the Bill of Rights and the amendments that have been added to it throughout the years.

Class Experience

In this six session class, we will explore the United States Constitution.  Students will gain an understanding of why the country needed the Constitution and what is in it.  They will learn about the Great Compromise which created the structure of our legislative branch and also brought resolution to disagreement that could have ended the Second Constitutional Convention.

Each class will have a review of material from the previous lessons to help with reinforcement and retention.
