In this class we explore the time line of cell theory, Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cells, Cell organelles and their functions and how plant cells are different from animal cell.

Class experience

In this lesson students will  be able to -1 meeting-History of cell and cell theory
2nd meeting-differentiate  between structure and function in plant and animal cell organelles.
3 rd week-Compare and contrast Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cell.
4th week-Cell cycle and cell division

Edible material like a cake, jello pudding, pieces of gummy candies of different colors to make edible model of cell(Optional).PDF for cell diagram and vocabulary will be given after first meeting.
