US Grade 2 - 5
Does your student love reptiles or amphibians and would like to know why they have different characteristics? In this class, we will discuss the difference between reptiles and amphibians, their different habitats, and the various adaptations that reptiles and amphibians possess that help them to survive. We'll also discuss conservation issues especially human conflict. Students will test their reptile knowledge, be able to ask questions, and meet a few reptile & amphibian ambassadors up-close. Reptile and Amphibian ambassadors will rotate with each class but for example can include a hognose snake, blue tongue skink, African bullfrog, sulcata tortoise. First part of the class is taught with the help of a PowerPoint and second part will be questions, and meeting the ambassadors.
