Students will develop an awareness of the diversity of the natural world while engaging in developmentally appropriate literacy practices (a.k.a. "school readiness" skills).
I have 16 years experience as an educator, most recently four years as an Early Childhood Educator at a Reggio-inspired preschool (where I spent 3 months leading twice-daily circle times on Zoom for my class of 3 & 4 year olds!). I am a certified children's Yoga instructor with 5 years experience teaching, so I love incorporating Yoga practices such as poses and breathing exercises into my classes too. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Innovative Early Childhood Education.
Activities are designed for learners to complete individually and share with the group.
Please provide your child with blank paper and drawing/writing tools such as a pencil, markers or crayons.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
