This multi-day course will give students an overview of Mexico. We will begin our discussion by looking at a variety of maps, both of Mexico and the larger region it belongs to. We will explore the topography, flora, and fauna, while also learning basic map skills. In subsequent weeks, students will be led on virtual tours of key places of historical and cultural significance, while delving into the vibrant culture of the various regions of Mexico, exploring ruins of cities and...

I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish (and economics). My undergraduate studies centered heavily on Latin American culture, civilization, history, and economics, culminating in my senior research project, which was focused on developing economies of Latin America. I have lived in a number of Latin American countries, and have studied in two of them as well, once as a child, and once as an undergrad.
