In this one time class students will learn about basic emotions and how to deal with them in a positive way by using movement, discussion, games, songs, visuals, props and different characters.

Emotions are part of our everyday lives. Dealing with our emotions is difficult for us adults. It’s even more difficult for kids who are still learning what feelings are and how to respond appropriately. In this one time class we will discuss and learn to recognize the four basic human emotions of sad, glad, mad and scared. Not only will your learner explore and discover what these emotions are but also how to recognize and express them in a positive and constructive way. My teaching style is fun, upbeat, informative and engaging. I encourage using movement, physical response, discussion and much more! We will combine using stories, songs, games and discussion to achieve our classroom goals. Puppets and other characters will help your student learn and retain the information presented and learned.
