Class

Average rating:5.0Number of reviews:(4)
We will learn about a weekly nature topic through themed crafts, stories, discussion, and games in this on-going course.

Class experience

I have led field trips, school programs, and summer camp at a local nature center. I have a doctorate in Biology and enjoy teaching young children.
I will send out a list of supplies a week before the class. Supplies include simple items you may already have at home or are easy to obtain. Example of supplies we may use in class include construction paper, scissors, glue, crayons, string, and recyclable items such as toilet paper rolls. We may also use objects that could be collected from nature in our craft, such as leaves, sticks, and nuts. At times, a choice of supplies will be provided if an item may be more difficult to obtain for some (such as: toilet paper roll OR paper cup; paper plate OR round piece of construction paper)
