Description

Class Experience

We will learn different science topics and math skills each week. My hope is to inspire young students to love math and science. I love teaching in an interactive way and making virtual classes as hands-on as possible. I will ask questions and involve students in discussions. We will perform experiments and do activities that help teach the topics. I will provide printable handouts for math skills practice. Students will learn basic science and math concepts.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development. I have been teaching Exploring Math and Science as a class at our homeschool coop for the past 4 years and have been teaching it virtually for the last 6 months.

I will provide worksheets for students to complete during the week.

Crayons, scissors, handouts provided by teacher, objects to count like counting cubes.
A magnet for week 2.

35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Some projects may need scissors. I will let parents know prior to class so they can supervise.
