Description
Class Experience
-Students will be understand what it means to be kind. -Students will practice showing kindness to each other -Students will better understand empathy (although this can take until age 7 or later to truly understand) -Students will learn about generosity and how to be generous.
Class #1: -Cotton ball -Rough sandpaper (or something else that is rough) -Print out paper heart provided -Scissors Class #2: -A jar or bucket -Stickers -Paper -Writing tools (pencil, markers, or colored pencils) Class #3: -Paper -Pencil -Markers, colored pencils, or crayons Class #4 -Colored construction paper -Markers, colored pencils, or crayons -Pencil
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will read the stories, "Have you Filled a Bucket Today" and "Stick and Stone".
