In this dynamic ongoing course designed for 1st and 2nd graders, students can join at any time and dive into a new topic every week, fostering a love for history, geography, and mapping skills while gaining knowledge about diverse civilizations and cultures. Throughout this course, students will develop a broad understanding of our planet by exploring it with the help of tools like Google Earth. We are a professional group of teachers with a variety of expertise. We help student learn to love learning and to develop a sense of belonging. Our administrators have been educating learners since 1995, and continue to hire quality educators with a passion to teach, and an ability to accommodate diverse learners. Our faculty includes experts in M.A. Special Education, M.A. in Math, B.A in Philosophy, Science, B.A. History, English Language Arts, Writing, English as a Second Language, Master in GuitarMagic the Gathering, Film Analysis, Gaming, Homesteading, Farming, Gardening, Culinary Arts, Foreign Languages, Debate, Novel Studies, Book Clubs, Yoga and more. We offer a variety of courses including; one time classes, on going courses, semester classes, camps, and recorded lessons. We pride ourselves in always providing fun and high interest courses to our learners.
Homework is optional and will be uploaded to the classroom.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
