Students will learn through pre-recorded videos. 🌎 A B O U T T H E C L A S S -This class will allow for learners to learn about different historical places around the world and have fun doing it! 🌎 C O U R S E O U T L I N E -Students will receive an instructional video for each class, discussing the history behind each location and why each is important. -In the videos, we will go on an interactive virtual field trip for most locations and look at pictures of all to help them gain an understanding on what each place looks like. -Students will receive a workbook that they can fill out as they explore the world! The workbook includes post lesson questions and a fun activity for each lesson. 🌎 S C H E D U L E -See Syllabus to see each place we will visit! 🌎 B O N U S Students will receive 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨 including: - Play-along videos - A 33-page student workbook with an answer key **Please note that these resources are custom created by me and should NOT be shared with anyone except students enrolled in the course. 🌎 W H Y S E L F P A C E D? -Students will be able to watch the pre-recorded videos as many times as they need. -Students will receive an interactive workbook to go along with each lesson. The workbook includes fun questions and activities like crosswords, word searches, and connect the dots. -Students can choose whenever they would like to watch the videos/focus on the class. -Students will still receive feedback if they choose to submit pictures of their workbooks. -Students will be able to ask me questions throughout the ten weeks. -Students will have access to the class for A WHOLE YEAR! 🎉 🌎 C R E D E N T I A L S -Degree in Theatre Arts and Education -Two years experience in a classroom setting -Spent multiple hours researching historical topics.

◾️ I N T R O ◾️
Hello! My name is Mrs. Logan and I am a lover of theatre and teaching a wide variety of topics within the art. I used to watch a movie when I was a kid and act out the entire thing from start to finish. The rest was history!
Growing up, I was so intrigued in my history classes and I have found the subject to be fun to teach! I love to dive into historical figures and historical places around the world. This is what inspired me to add history classes as well.
I am excited for your learners to gain confidence and feel comfortable with self-expression in a variety of ways in my classes.

I believe that each student is unique and therefore deserves a learning environment that flows with who they are. I focus heavily on engagement and finding new ways to make class an enjoyable place to be. I believe that praising students for what they are doing well allows them to feel like they succeed. I focus heavily on a positive learning environment in which we learn a lot and have fun doing it!

-I was a fifth grade teacher for two years in a public charter school.
