I studied geography at well known Canadian university. During my degree, I learned all about the physical geography of the whole world as well as all of the natural phenomena. I learned all about the world environment, climate, atmosphere, oceans, landforms, and land changes that have happened throughout time. I also learned all the processes and patterns of the natural environment. Throughout my degree studied a lot of natural science which includes volcanoes. One class specifically was a semester-long look at only volcanoes. I learned about tectonic plate movement, the process that takes place at an active volcano, the hazards of different types of volcanoes, and studied individual volcanoes throughout the world. However, this is only an introductory level course and will just be covering the basics.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
