Class Experience

Students will be able to use the text to collaboratively answer questions that pertain to the particular emotion of a character(s).
The students will begin a creative project that they may not finish by the end of class. This assignment is not homework, but I will encourage them to finish it. Learners who complete it may send it to me and I will provide comments and, if given permission, share it with classmates and caregivers!
Only their curiosity! I will provide everything else.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The short excerpts used in this class involve bullying and the death of a grandmother.
Excerpts will be provided by me. The class will utilize Jamboard, a tool from Google excellent for collaborative learning. No previous knowledge of Jamboard is necessary-it is very user friendly and easy to use!
