Before diving into the enriching content of this class, I want to assure parents that our discussions will not be therapeutic in nature. I understand that families have varying comfort levels around certain subjects. Students will be exposed to emotional literacy vocabulary and make connections with book characters, building comprehension and emotional intelligence.

I have my Master's in Curriculum & Instruction from The Ohio State University, focusing on creative learning methodologies. I held instructional coaching and mentor teacher positions at my previous school focusing on social emotional learning and literacy enhancement.
